I’m not sure if this is an error.

    It has a raised section on the left side of obverse. Not sure about the color off color above head on the obverse and almost right down the middle on the reverse E023E204-C1E6-44A9-9EFB-BE00434C9A04.jpeg E6F3126F-EF42-4BDA-991A-AD8F879CD530.jpeg

    I’m not sure if this is an error.

    ED. Environmental damage (toning) on a well worn Washington quarter. What did you think the "error" was? Improperly annealed planchet?

    coins like this have just led a hard life. No one really knows what happened since it was minted. The coin is very baggy (lots of little scrapes and nicks), stained and corroded. due to the green corrosion, it was probably buried for some of its life and then found. Not even really worth talking about. Only will only be worth a quarter.
