I just picked up a box of pennies at the bank recently for my son to CRH. The entire box are 2021 P.
He would faint if he found one lol.

 

It makes sense from an error standpoint. The more recent something is made the less likely it is to have errors.

 

i would pay 50-75 for the pair, myself, others seem to think modern errors hold no value..

 

this whole year the most 2021 cents i have gotten rom the bank was 15 rolls

 

I was on another coin site (heaven forbid) yesterday and noted they were talking about these 2021 P cents about an month ago. Multiple people remarked that theirs were found in Virginia. One guy found 3 different ones in one roll showing progressive stages of the error. Some guys have all the luck.

It's neat. I think it sold for too much though. The person should definitely have them attributed by a TPG company.

i would be happy if i could ever get one, all i get are old coins...want the new ones to search for errors.....my bank never has any most i ever got was 15 rolls and that was one time, out of 2000 rolls searched, or more...

 

I have solid 2021P boxes sitting at home waiting to be dumped.
I don't have the energy to unwrap them all right now.
If I had to hazard a guess, I've probably gotten ~20 solid date boxes this year if not more.
