Another acquisition in my set of toned Jefferson Nickels, a very nice PCGS 1948s MS 66. The toning is golden on both sides, with hints of russet, blue, and rainbow accents. Since this example appears to be somewhat weakly struck, it is not even close to FS. I feel it might be slightly undergraded—could have gotten the 67. There is some die flaking, and evidence of a badly worn die on the reverse—that could have held it back.

I have lucked out in finding golden Jeffersons, especially with rainbow highlights.

A pleasing to the eye, golden nickel.

I don’t have any I am selling—I am buying now. If you are looking for quality toned Jeffs, speak to @Lehigh96 (Paul). He is the beautiful Jeff guru, and sells off a lot of his amazing Jeffersons.
