Poor Quality from the Mint on 2010 Cents?

    2010 obv 2.jpg This is a cent from a roll acquired at the Launch Cerimony on Feb. 11. Notice the scuff marks. I opened three rolls and they were all like this, in the same spots. Could it be bad dies?

    Why two seperate threads? They are the exact same thread, just posted 24 minutes apart?

    As the first poster in the other thread said, your pic is too small.

    Looks like it could be incomplete fill from a slightly weak strike. Those areas did not fill and come into contact with the die so they show a lack of detail and no luster.

    Would those be considered some sort of error or just poor

    I think it is a quality issue. They could slow down the striking process since the demand for coins will most likely be low again this year, and get better strikes in the process. They will more likely pump them out at top speed, and stop production early just like last year.
