    Those are the same coin? o_O

    The '84 is copper plated zinc and looks like it was heated until the zinc core melted.

    The other which I'm guessing is a different coin? Anyway, idk what kind of marks a vice leaves on a coin but it kinda reminds me of a cancelled coin from India. No idea why India would cancel an American coin tho, lol

    As stated, the 1972 D was squeezed in a vise, the zinc cent looks like it was heated to the point that the zinc started to melt.
