my first libertad bullion coin: 2015 1/20 0z plata pura

saw someone else post one, so got jealous and bought this one, also have a 1.4 oz on it's way as well 9from a diff. vendor) such a beautiful coin, had to get it!!

ngc only goes to 2011 so no idea mintage or price, i paid 13.90 (landed)

 

This is 1/20th of an ounce?

 

yup, a tad smaller than a dime and 1/3 as thick

 

I like the coin, but was just thinking...$278/oz

 

just found the mintage, it is 18,200..so rarer than a 1916-d mercury dime...

 

You can sometimes get good deals on these 1/20 and 1/10 ounce libertads, especially if you buy multiples from the same seller. The proof ones are really nice.

 

just in, my half oz libertad from 2010, proof. scuff marks are all on plastic disc-like case 9coin-safe??) anyways..39.00 landed for this one...cheapest i could find...
