I guess there's not any ebay rules broken here but it just makes me wonder about some ppl. I guess they just don't care when they look at themselves in the mirror. Either that or they truly don't know any better. I have one of these quarters, I have a 1971-D and I've posted pics previously cause I often wondered how much to ask but honestly I don't care about selling mine. Incidentally the number is 390151887090 if the link don't work. I only posted this for possible discussion, as ridiculous ebay sale of the day, or year, no maybe the week or hour!! http://cgi.ebay.com/1982-P-WASHINGT...mQQptZCoins_US_Individual?hash=item5ad6dd58f2
Oh come on noob. Seen much worse than that. 1.6 million dollars for a Canadian penny with a 7 stamped on it. 6 million dollar piece of art work. Photo of it taken on a basement floor next to a pool table and a dog dish with a camera phone.
$440 is a bit high considering it trends for around $125. But, my main question is, how many 1982's have an obverse missing clad layer? If there are less than 5 of these than the price is right...:kewl:
Here's a goody for ya. $3 extra for shipping insurance. http://cgi.ebay.com/CANADA-10-COIN-...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_2?hash=item19b9f44aa4
There doesn't seem to be any shortage of ridiculous starting bids or Buy it now offerings. Most of the time they're armed with an inflated detail grade and no concept of the damage reductions from redbook prices for mutilated and corroded coins.
http://cgi.ebay.com/1988-CALGARY-OL...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_2?hash=item27af2f7c70 This is more like it...
So any ideas on what BIN I should place on mine or should I have it graded first? Just asking, cause I know alot of members on here have success on ebay and although I've sold a handful of coins on the bay, I am definitely a rookie.
