I was wondering if this is a DDO. I can only see some indication on the date. The ones and sevens appear to be spit at the top left and bottom left. The sixes appear to have a line about middle of the circular parts of the numbers. Can anyone help with this one? The color of the coin has to do with my lighting. The coin has normal coloring. Sorry about the bad photos. Just can't seem to get good pictures.
2b1ask1...what you have is doubling from a master die MDO-001 that can be seen on the 1976 P, D, S and proof. Here is a photo of a 76PR DDO-002 Kennedy Half that I found and got listed. Larry Nienaber
I haven't learned enough to know differences in the dies used. What would be the difference in a master die and any other that would make the definition MDO rather that DDO?
Master die doubling indicates that several working dies of a given year and denomination exhibit the same doubling. Larry Nienaber
