1880S Morgan Should I have it graded

    I think the costs of getting that coin graded out weigh the benefits. Even if the coin grades MS-64 its only worth roughly $60. If the coin means something to you and feel as if this will better protect the coin I would say its worth slabbing.

    Thats I thought that also, some I think are really only worth silver value.

    They made 8 million and 900 thousand of them. 8.900,000
    Unless you find an overdate I wouldn't pay to slab it.
    Sometimes ANACS runs a special and will slab Morgans for $10 each.
    Out of those 8,900,000 there were 2 main varieties.
    80 over 79
    and 0 over 9
    Both are difficult to see, but look at the last two numbers of the date and see if you can pick out any irregular lines.
