So, earlier today my neighbor (who is normally drunk) comes and knocks at our door. He hands my dad a coin and says it is a thanks for Christmas (I guess we did something). My dad is reluctant to take it, but is basically forced to. Our neighbor then holds out a few more and says he'll give them to us for $30. My dad declines saying we have no money for it, and our neighbor is dismissed. Once my dad closes the door, he looks at the coin. Instantly he recognizes it as a Morgan and tells me to check how much it is worth (I of course have no idea how to do this). We find various prices which obviously outweigh the $30, so my dad says me and my brother should go get the other four for the $30. We do that, and end up with four more... After some researching, I have found various prices... But they mean basically nothing as I know nothing about coins...

If someone would like to help "grade" them, that would be great. Specifically, I want to know how much I can get for them. :D

Pictures were uploaded to imageshack, sorry if that is a huge inconvenience.

Welcome...Morgan dollars just in silver are about 14-15 bucks..You paid 30 total for all them? Nice..The 1893 is the money coin. They only made 378,000 of them. Assuming its real that one probably worth about $150. Nice.

I agree with Flyers. The '83, '84, '86 and '96 are worth around $14. The 1893, is a better date, it looks like a high VF to me, I would say it's worth around $200.
