This KHD coin was found in a previous box searched a few weeks ago.

It is clearly missing the "H", on the reverse in HALL.

I do not see this listed anywhere like the missing artist initials between the eagle's leg and wing of other KHD's.

Has anyone ever found this particular "missing H" Bicentennial coin before?

If you don't mind me asking, did you pluck out the best of the best for submission or any other action? I have yet to submit my first coin, so I want to make sure I'm seeing everything there is to see before I do. Thank you.

Nope. Tossed em back in the wild. They were pretty and shiny but not worth the time or effort imo.

I look at PCGS coin facts for the date of your coin your looking at. see if you think the coin you have is better than the one they have. then you take a shot and send it in to see. but be sure that grade your looking for is worth the money. look @ the 1 or 2 grades lower and that's the grade your more than likely to get now that should all so be worth it as well if not don't send it in

The cost of sending in one coin is really big so be sure to send in others as shipping is a big part of the cost they charge a minimum of $27. And some change plus the cost of you sending in about 15. +. For you to ship it total cost of shipping is roughly 42. bucks

Found a cool die clash in tonight's box. Also found a Philadelphia token from a mint set. Oldest wheat cent out of the box was a 1916 1992 die clash obv.jpg 1992 die clash rev.jpg

I think this information regarding the submission of coins for grading, and the multitudes that could be shared by the nice folks here on COINTALK is worthy of it's own thread. What do you say?

Could have been mine from a few weeks ago, it was about a Morgan and an armed services token.

I can't say that I have seen such a heavily-circulated modern commemorative. I'm sure there's a lowball collector somewhere who would pay nicely for such a piece.

Yeah I was surprised! I thought it might have been a Philly mint instead of a San Fran, but nope, it is a San Fran which means at one point it looked pretty nice.
