    Dated 1844 so this is a Braided Hair. I believe this to a a normal date and not the overdate. The coin is not damaged but the plastic is on the flip on the obverse side.

    Appears to be a "dug" coin. Looks like it has been buried for some time.

    That coin seems harshly cleaned. I think it's safe to take it out of the 2x2 when you have the time to examine the date closer.
    The reason I say harshly cleaned is because you can see how mushy the details are, and yet there are very bright areas that mimic OML. The harsh cleaning brings out those bright spots.
