This Thaler from Saxony 1763 has been passed down the female line and currently resides with my Wife. The furthest we can track it back through family knowledge is her Great, Grandmother. We can find no real info regarding this coin as it would be nice to catalog it accordingly. We are appealing to you experienced members with knowledge of such things to enlighten us. That is very helpful, thankyou. Now know it was struck at Dresden. Her Great Grandmother was born further North in Koszalin on the Baltic sea coast. It was Prussia then, now Poland.
