Picked this up yesterday..thought it was different..Liberty is making a Toast!!
Seems as though it is unissued.

Here is one of mine. Punch canceled. Largest stamp I have at 8 1/2 x 11. Takes a whole page in my BOB album. Jim

Here's the modern day equivalent. I've had this forever, not even sure how I got it. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

Guys! That's some great stuff as usual per the CT crowd. :thumb:

And since we're sharing... I've never been a smoker but I've always admired old cigar boxes for their colorful and sometimes embossed lithographic designs as well as their printed Internal Revenue tax seals/stamps (whatever may remain of them) still in place after cancellation.

I especially like the weathered old boxes you can find in estate sales or antiques shops and such. I like the deteriorating labels as they are, with so much character.

I know there's a whole world of tobacco paraphernalia collectors out there but I've never looked into it, and no I don't keep my coins in the old boxes.

Here are a few quick shots of some of mine with a close up or two of the tax stamps:

Definitely! All we need is some licensing papers for the Wild Horse Brothel, and we've got a complete vice collection!
