Die Deterioration Doubling (DDD) can usually be easily determined, as the apparent doubling moves towards the rim around the rim, sometimes showing with metal flow lines in the same direction.
The interesting thing is that the date does look like DDD, but I don't see the same for the perimeter area such as the L on Liberty. It looks more like an off-center obverse die as the rim thickness is more near the date and less near the top . IMO. Jim
