Struck through error?

Hi. This is a 1993 silver eagle and I would like to know if this is an error or post mint damage. I also just notice that it may be a doubling on the date?

Looks like a common, small, struck thru.

 

Mr. Weinberg is right.

The doubling on the date is not a doubled die if that's what your inferring.

 

...also, on the date, it looks like strike doubling (MD or mechanical doubling) where the die moved during striking. The doubling looks "flat and shelf-like" and the 3 doesn't have any split serifs (sp).
