Here's an exonumia piece that is ineligible for third-party certification (since it's an unpublished type), but I included it in my collection for sentimental reasons. This silver dollar-sized medal belonged to my grandfather, Dr. Logan T. Robertson (1916-1987). I also have a 1935 bronze watch fob medal with the same Champion knight which belonged to his father- my great-grandfather- Reuben Buck Robertson (1879-1973), who was the cofounder of Champion.

PS- this piece had somehow escaped "into the wild" and ended up in the possession of a kind stranger by the name of Lucy Brannen, who tracked down my mother with some internet sleuthing, and sent it to her.

Which kind of echoes how I had done the same thing with a WW1 piece which belonged to someone else's family. That was a heartwarming Christmas story.
