I Think I have a very rare 1952 D penny with a piece from another cent fused on to it. Can anybody tell me a value of this penny? I have done extensive research and can not find any other pennies with this type of error. this coin has been in my possession since 1963. Can anyone direct me to the right website or any information that can help me appraise this rare find. Thanks

It could be a piece of the die broke out, but it's hard to tell till new pics are here.

If you are holding you camera in hand, you need to brace it with something. The only thing that even tells me that is a Lincoln is your post.

Dude...give that coin some alligator teeth and a pig snout, and it would look just like my mother-in law.....ok, maybe not the teeth.

A good way might be to use a scanner.

Have you tried a magnifying glass or loupe in front of the camera lens?

Try a tripod and maybe a longer exposure time....is it possible to set the "shutter speed" with a digital camera?...(just tossing out ideas).
