Thank you to my friend @CoinJockey73 for entering and wanting the prize to go to me. Only a friend would know how much I would love to have them in my collection. I do not believe I have one yet. and if I win them on this post I will split them with Coinjockey~. This video is all Acapella. no instruments whatsoever.

This posting is NOT an entry, but I did want to congratulate @NLL on the win and also thank @Penny Luster for having this really special giveaway and @lordmarcovan for his assistance in the endeavor.

 

Now I can say, I want those.

A family story from Christmas Past. One of the items we received from my mom’s estate several decades ago was her Angel Band (which she would proudly display each Christmas). For whatever reason, after we got them they wound up forgotten in a box, wrapped in cotton towels, on a shelf in my wife’s closet. In December a few years later, while driving the kids home from school, she heard mom say very clearly: ”Put out the angels; they’re in the closet.“ From that year on, each Christmas we proudly display the Angels on our own mantel. True story; isn’t the mind marvelous?

 

I want those! I have always felt they were some of the most beautiful coins we've minted.

Today I am grateful that I think I will finish the day for the first time in 2 weeks with no kidney stone pain....

Thanksgiving week the wife and I spent in Dallas visiting one of her younger brothers. We took one day and went to the Dallas World Aquarium and then to The Sixth Floor Museum. The aquarium was a neat experience but I much more enjoyed the JFK museum. What a step back into time and seeing the actual place(s) of that historical day. Yes, I did stand on the grassy knoll.
