View attachment 1403274 Hard to keep a straight face when you carry these out by the pound at the LCS. But he told me’just don’t tell me what they sold for’ Most were sorted by country with retail prices marked One man’s trash…
Great fun. Hope you make some profit. Lots of dealers don’t think it’s worth their time to sell coins for a buck or two a piece, and so dump them in bulk. Happy hunting
Yeah, I looked at your other posts too, and they're nice coins but those prices have no basis in reality. I can see why those shops went out of business.
That’s why I love you guys Honest answers. No idea where the price came from The old couple who owned the store had family help the last few years before they passed. Pricing was often inflated. I bought by the handful. So far I’ve sold about 20% for nearly $1000 profit. One was a Sutler Civil War token that went for $368 on eBay
Wish I had bought them all. Took home about 100 lbs, about half loose, half in 2x2s. Left the rest for seed Anything marked over $10 or I could identify as silver or before 1930 went in my bag. Paid about $200 total
