Apparently 2022 Morgans & Peace Dollars are coming next year

I was reading through coin world and I found this link saying the US Mint has decided to continue the Morgan & Peace Dollars series:

Will these become a regular annual issue thing?

They will continue if they think they can get $65 an ounce for silver.

 

I’m sure they could get $65 an ounce if they made something different no?

 

Closer to $100 an oz considering there is less than 1oz in each dollar.

 

Didn't expect them to go that far.

 

Just be happy it's only that much. Most major world mints such a product would be over $100

Yea check out some of the stuff from England and France for example and then remember their prices are in pounds or euros making them even more expensive than listed. The US mint is cheap by comparison even with their price hike last year

 

So, the 2022 Morgan is going to commemorate the 100th anniversary of not making them anymore?

 

I guess it’s a new series commemorating the 100th anniversary beginning on the 100th anniversary.

Maybe they will become collectibles!

 

At least the non-Beijing mints.

 

In other words the legitimate government ones? lol.

 

I'm just glad they kept the mintage low for this year. The only other thing that interests me is one of the proof peace dollars.

 

Hopefully:

1. Just one of each.
2. In proof.

 

Then probably a RP the following year and after that it would start to get really boring
