    1981 1 drachma possible error ? theres a blob in between the 1 & 9 if its an error what error is it cant find anything similar onlin 1981 Drachma.jpg 1981 Drachma 1.jpg 1981 Drachma 2.jpg e

    Probably a die chip on the base of the 1.

    fun fact, that's a corvette class warship of 1820s era from their war of independence I don't think it's been specifically identified though by vessel name anywhere that I can find. also depending on the date there is 2, 3 and 4 front sail varieties, as well as one or two waves under the ship.

    and now that I'm on my computer with a bigger picture of it, I'm not sure it's a die chip off the 1, it looks just a bit too far off from the 1, but it looks raised, and if it is, it's a die chip or die dent I'd think.

    Just ask-- Paddy you said it buddy :banhappy: there aint much if any reference for greek error coins just loads of stuff on ancient greek coins which sadly I dont have
