25.00 in cents & 60.00 in dimes....

    I used to just throw them away, but now plan to turn them in, en masse, for credit at the bank.

    just mis aligned die, if off center or broadstruck would be "off" center on bothesides, not just one, but, mis aligned dies can be 2 sided as well, you look at the rim, if no reeding, or missing, that is another sign of o/c or broadstrike, or out of collar strike as well , this one has normal reeding

    my mother had an employee and he told me once anytime he saw a kennedy half dollar (back then they were silver) he would throw em on the ground and road rash them (he really hated kennedy)..said he worked in a gas station 64-66 and said he must have done it to hundreds... everybody hates a certain design or other,

    The edge is wide on one side and narrow-to-nonexistent on the other, is what i meant.

    I was speaking to all the corroded ones I find when metal detecting; quite a few. I mean, why waste 'em?

    yes, this is called a mis-aligned die, an error but fairly common value of dimes probably 20 cents to a dollar depending on grade, if unc, of course more

    i know, i am not too fond of em either they seem to disintegrate....
