Bought some wheaties today from the bin at the LCS. Not normally a wheat hunter but today for some reason they struck my interest. Grabbed 1,000 wheat last for $40 which I think is pretty standard / reasonable retail.

Ended up doing pretty well. Found a ‘22-D, ‘23-S, ‘24-D, 2x’26-S and a bunch of other mint marked coins from the 1920’s. Also found a nice 1957-D RPM that isn’t listed in the CPG. None of them are too valuable but still ecstatic to find them. Thanks for looking.

Nice finds! I too have a fancy for the wheat cent. When I can get rolls from the bank I do so in search of the wheat cent. They are getting harder to find. I save the pennies from Canada also only because they do not make them any more.

Looks like you did good. It pays to check out everything at your LCS.

Nice find on 24-D! I'm only missing that one, 09-S, and 14-D for a complete set.

This is actually the 2nd 1924-D that I paid $0.04 for. The other one is quite a bit nicer.
