I was thinking about holding a wheat cent dutch auction on ebay. I will include a 1914-D, 1924-D, 1922-D, 1933, 1933-D, 1932, 1932-D among others. I plan on having either 10 or 15 coin lots (100 lots). Every coin will be earlier than 1940. I will have a close to 200 coins at least $1.00 in value.

I was thinking $10 per lot but want your opinion.

My personal recommendation would be to stay away from dutch auctions. Some of the better buys I have made were dutch auctions - because there are a lot of people out there who do not know how to work them.

I would be interested in buying a lot of coins like that. It would be nice to buy on ebay without the fear of getting screwed haha.

Edit: I misse dth "Dutch action" part what would that intail?

A dutch auction is 1 auction with more than one available product.
