    That was a bit of a fabrication on several fronts - the candy tin is a fairly recent vintage. I could use one of my old Altoids or Sucrets tins and use them as a storage facility for my pine tree shillings, etc.

    My sewing kit is actually in an old "Pollywogs" tin from ca. 1950s 1960s. Pollywogs were some sort of chocolate, peanuts and caramel candy.

    That is the exact tin I keep all old concert and sports stubs/bracelets, hunting and fishing licenses, and other similar miscellany.
