    Meet Freddy. Freddy joined us yesterday.

    Freddy is not another foster.

    Freddy is a keeper.

    That was Ladymarcovan’s unilateral decision, but now that I’ve met Freddy and gotten to know him, I’m on board with that 100%.

    Update: Ladymarcovan is not on board with the name “Freddy”. He just looked like a Freddy to me. He’s now “Huck”, at least for the moment.

    btw, we rescued Violet as a young girl from an animal hoarder. After 10 years, our vet told us that Violet is a boy, so now it's "Mr Violet".

    interesting tidbit: Numista describes the design as a “camel postman”. Apparently once upon a time in Sudan, the mailmen were armed with spears! (!?)

    Thanks to @Penny Luster and @lordmarcovan for doing all this work. I'm not entering this 2nd round but would like to say that the 1926 "Bold GOD" Peace Dollar has a really interesting story behind it. If anyone is interested in coin stories, do look it up. :)
