I would appreciate it if sb could share any info about this note; is it a copy, a souvenir note or what? D View attachment 1401395 View attachment 1401396 View attachment 1401396
I do not have much experience with banknotes, but do know that there are copies of Texas notes out there. The easiest authentication check is to look at the signatures and serial number. These should be hand written in ink. If they are printed on your note, then it's s a copy. This check will identify the vast majority of souvenir pieces and copies. It looks like the sigs are printed, but I can't be certain from the pic. It should be easy to figure out with the note in hand. Hope this helps
Definitely bogus. Check it out on the website below. http://www.crutchwilliams.com/BogusCSA_RoTx.html This is an example of a genuine note. (not my note)
Yessiree. When it comes to Currency it is best to invest a little and get a 'Graded Note'. Just about everything is 'copied' today and sold as original. Especially the Obsolete Currency and Confederate Currency.
