Hello everybody, I'm a new member here. I came across a Greek coin, I looked for hours but couldn't find an exact one, I found similar ones so I have no clue what is it, does anybody know? I would really appreciate it. Many thanks
Its a modern fantasy piece. The obverse is based off tetradrachms of the Thracian king Lysimachos, the reverse off Syracusan dekadrachms. A hint - below the obverse bust, it says, in ENGLISH the word "Greece." How would that end up on an ancient coin?
It might well be a commemrative medal of some kind, lets not all rush in and call it a fake What it is not is a coin modern or old LOL
