    Man, an unscrupulous person could make lots of money selling basically nothing if no one ever opens it. LOL
    Buy old packaging (it's out there and for sale), stamp the flaps with a date stamp, which they put the date on, and sell it as an unopened set, and hope no one opens it.

    Not a chance I'd be willing to take for that money. Especially from a unknown seller.

    Not an unknown seller, regarded pretty highly actually, goes to national shows, met him in Baltimore and does most of his business on Instagram

    Like I said I have purchased from him before, he does most of his business on Instagram and shows. Has more than one set, they all have the same family name which is neat and makes them being sealed a better bet. You’re 100% right that them being sealed is where the value is.hoping to get this set for around 400-450 and keep it closed maybe even frame it. Opened it’s just your average double mint set. Said he was throwing one up on Instagram to see where the market price is for unopened sets
