Here are three tiny 1/4 real coins from Guatemala which recently came my way. They are tough to photograph because of their size but are in lovely condition. Enjoy!
I love and collect small coins, probably due to my affinity for dimes and half dimes. I have a few of these little quarter reals and just love them. I especially like the ones with the lion on them.
Those little Guatemalans are fun, and you’ve got some nice toning on that 1889. At the time I owned it, this 1898 was tied with one other MS66 for the second-highest certified, and was in my opinion the nicer of the two MS66 examples. There was a single MS67 at the top of the PCGS population.
