OK. I've got, yet another, stumper. I just received this in hand today and am now stumped for attribution. I can't find this guy in McAlee. I can't find this legend and there are not many examples of the laureated bust. This doesn't fit the 777 series or 782 or 783 series. Another interesting feature is the tie for the laureate crosses over onto the bust. Does anyone have any other references? Legend: A[V]T K M AV ANT[??]NI N OC 6.00g, 23mm This is not found in Supplement 1 or 2 either.

Awesome study! Thanks for sharing...going through the data now. Looking at the weights there appear to be very, very few in the 9.00-10.00.g and a broad flan with 22-23mm diameter on the obv and 22.0 diameter reverse- measured across the beaded border.
Actually what is quite funny is that this article doesn't address the S*C coins just the AE with Star coins. Which is actually 1of the 3 coins I just received. So it did help to determine that yes my 9.6g coin (see above) is pretty rare..but doesn't actually help with my S*C attribution.
Ryan, I'm not quite sure how your coin differs from McAlee 782c, "Wreath fastened at top with star", given that the italic letters in McAlee's rendition of the obv. legend indicate letters "which sometimes are omitted", as McAlee states on p. 58. A nice coin. I was grateful for your letter by letter transcription of the obv. legend!
782 was my top contender before I posted. I didn't remember the rule from page 58 that italicized letters are sometimes omitted. Using that rule, we have a match. Lesson learned...don't rely only on photos! My hopes and dreams of finding something new are dashed! (humor). Thanks for the enlightenment and reminder to "read the directions"! If you are in the U.S., Happy Thanksgiving!
Presumably also McAlee 782c, if that's a star at the top of the wreath. Or 783c, if that's a star and if the emperor also has a fold of cloak on his front shoulder.
