I am trying to find info on a IH that is called a Snow-4 1886 T1. Can anyone refer me to the site that can explain what or who Snow is and how it applies to the IH penny? Is this a rare coin? Also I would like to know if you can tell if an 1873 IH is a DDO LIBERTY if the LIB is worn off. I have heard there is something to do w/ her lips but what do you look for? TY James

the snow varities refer to rick snow, the guru of ihc's. he's cataloged hundreds of varities, and calls them snow-1, snow-2, etc. his site is www.indiancent.com. as far as telling the 1873 doubled liberty that is worn off, you can tell that variety by doubling under the nose.
