Found in circulation, average wear ~VF+, full front, blank reverse. I won't post pics because it won't really help. Any thoughts?
MY inital thought is that the reverse has been "shaved off" it would be fairly hard to strike a uniface coin by mistake with the modern minting process
shaved...why would anyone do that..and how... And if it weren't, would it be worth more then one cent?
i've seen it done with a lathe. and sometimes people just do it for kicks. As for the value if it we're a mint error it's kinda hard to tell, not my speciality -Russ
