Hi Folks. Haven't been on here for a while to bore you with my posts. Being an old poot on Social Security, I love shiney silver bling. I don't purchase high dollar coins but I try to buy what I like at an affordable price. Here is my latest purchase. Have fun ya'll.

Truly amazing Coins !! What I could never figure out is what prevents coins like this to become 69's and not 70's ?

Sometimes it is only a small break in the frost.

It's darn near impossible to tell the difference between a 69 and a 70 from photos. Where proof coins are concerned, it may be a very tiny nick in the frost that is quite invisible unless you have the coin in hand and are able to tilt it back and forth under a bright light. I keep a halogen lamp on my desk for such things.

On 01/27/2011, I paid $50.00 for the 2002 set, and $36.00 each for the 2003 and 2004 sets. I bought them from DLRC. :)

You STOLE those puppies! Nice buy! If those were common junk silver, you would have paid about the same with shipping! Way to go!

At $8 each, that's a steal! I really like the Puerto Rico and Samoan quarters' designs.
