I don't really know why but I like something about the big, yellowish Danish krones and kroners. I recently bought a big group of them from my LCS. I was planning to sell most of them but they're calling my name. "Keep me," they say. Some of these have good book value but in my experience they don't tend to sell for as much as they catalog for. Here's the group I picked up.
Here's the only Danish Kroner I have a photo of: 1930 2 Kroner, .800 AG, 60th birthday of King Christian X Commem If I look around I may have others...
I have only 1 of the Kroners, a little more modern. The rest of my Danish coins are all smaller denominations
Found a couple in my unpackaged "junk" bin. Unfortunately, there's a sizable gouge in the 1942 one. Still, they are handsome coins. The bins mentioned. Only a couple Danish Krone in the whole bunch, but there were several smaller coins mixed in. 1900-1960 1850-1900
I'm not a Kroner collector but your title whispered to me and drew me in. Congrats on the finds. Nice colors and condition.
The 10 cent bin brought me some good luck today with these three: Denmark, 1 Krone, 1925, 1946 and 1957
