My favorite coin. Note If you want a nice example raw MS coins from the '40's are available for under $60.

 

I have pretty fuzzy memories of my grandfather showing me old coins when I was a small child. But I remember that design grabbing my attention from the very beginning.

 

Yeah I love this coin......The woman walking in the sunshine on the obverse and
the big ol Eagle on the reverse....Beautiful

 

My favorite design of all halves with Bust & Seated coming in 2nd & 3rd.

 

Well, not counting the commemoratives. Or maybe even then.

 

I disagree Joe, the condition is great. I think they look better if they have been working for a living. They would fit right in with my set. Nice.

It was always one of my favorite designs, but the new ASE has kind of ruined it for me. I see Walking Liberty and get excited and then discover it is the new ASE.
