The positioning of the struck through make these coins popular. These coins are marketed as burning buildings. If the struck through is positioned at a different location, I think the price probably won't go up that high.

1988-d clip for 150.00 i buy these all day long for 5-12.00 depending on the date, for such a minor error???
Nobody actually did. Not sure what happened maybe someone bought it and cancelled it right after to mess with him, it was relisted. as far as the listing it was $1894 OBO and if someone makes an offer and it's accepted, it's just going to show it was sold, but not what it sold for below the asking price. You got to dig that up elsewhere. Watchcount says it was a BIN all I can tell on it.
@John Burgess can you post the actual link? If it is the FS-101 which PCGS has only graded 14 of them, Then yes it is rare. But not 1850 rare unless it is MS66 or better. The last one sold in 2018 as a AU58 for $360. oins.ha.com/itm/washington-quarters/quarters-and-twenty-cents/1965-25c-doubled-die-obverse-fs-101-au58-pcgs-pcgs-population-2-3-ngc-census-1-1-mintage-1-819-717-504/a/131811-23573.s?ic4=ListView-ShortDescription-071515
I sure can my friend, here ya go. https://www.ebay.com/itm/185092395313?hash=item2b185dd131:g:SYIAAOSwbhNgMmkj looks like it to me but I'm a novice and the picture could be better also. Definitely not MS66 though, not even AU. theres a second one listed really high also I don't like the looks of this one though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/125004030444?hash=item1d1ad221ec:g:dv8AAOSw0DhhSIW1
Thanks John The first looks to be the FS-101 although probably around an XF. The second one I wouldn't even attempt to buy as it has the look of die deterioration and extreme circulation. Definitely not the FS-101, but could be one of the other 4 DDO's.
