Today I want to share my latest finds for a 9 hour Metal Detecting hunt.

I found 5 Silver Coins
1 - Seated Dime (My second ever found)
3 - Winged Liberty Head
1 - Canada Dime


I also dug up 29 Wheat Cents and 5 Foreign Coins

Vintage NYC Subway Token and Good Luck Medallion

 

HMMMM how did that DIE get detected? One of New Yorks Famous LOADED dice?(don't get ya hackles up just kidding) GREAT finds, all I ever found was nails, pull tabs and bottle caps. Maybe I should have started a collection of them. I'd sure have a huge collection

 

WoW Ed !! Great treasure hunt !! I love the 1888 seated dime and especially the Libra Good Luck medallion since I'm one myself .
Oh and did I mention the Italian Coin ! Love the Pictorial on that one .

Well, okay...so now it is official...

The Cointessa is "vintage" because I actually used those vintage tokens. And i think i remember a token used before that one. Wonderful finds @Paddy54 ! Congrats!

The difference between us is he speakes Spanish fluently were as I can speak it somewhat....
I can speak Gaelic he has no idea ...of the language.. he digs holes....to find things....I burry things so people like Paddyman has something to do....on a Sunday mornings. He lives in NYC .....I live in the land of pleasant living...Paddyman collects errors....I collect varieties..... now is everyone straighten out?

 

Nice finds. Odd how so few nickels you find. Even on your Coin Star receipts,
nickels are usually the fewest in number. Can't remember the last time I found
anything in the reject dispenser.

 

Awesome finds. Have you ever found a gold coin yet ?

 

Time off work well spent. Nice haul and I KNOW you will break your record for silvers this year. Oh, but then you'll have to work twice as hard, and take more days off, next year to beat this years record. It's a never ending cycle my friend. LOL

But it wasn't 5000 likes just so we understand...
You know Frank found a diamond bracelet one time...as I recall all the stones were all old world hand cut stones...Frank was on cloud 9 for weeks...rightfully so.
Maybe one day I may pm you..and ask what type of machine to buy...you have no idea how many sites there are here...
