    You have to use the "report" button (link) at the bottom of your initial post, and request an edit (or in this case, a duplicate thread deletion or merging). Thread deletions have to be done by a moderator.

    But never mind- since you already edited out your duplicate post information yourself, and since you wouldn't be able to read this explanation if I had deleted this thread, I have let it stand.

    We also do not typically delete threads upon request- not even by the author (and definitely not by someone other than the author). What we usually do is merge the two dupe threads together.

    This one might cause some confusion if now merged with the other. ;)

    I wouldn’t have even known what this thread was originally a duplicate of, had I not been able to use Moderator Vision to see the author’s pre-edit version of the now-blank original post. :watching:
