    The only reason I got this was because it was relatively cheap and a Doubled Die Reverse . :woot::happy:

    1874-cc xf45 obv wide cc.jpg 1874-cc xf45 rev wide cc.jpg
    this has the "small, wide spaced cc rev" made with a rev die that was used from 1873 all the way through 1876. The 1875 CC Trade Dollar made with this rev. die is extremely rare.

    Odds are one of these days I'll accidentally take a great picture, but not today! Nonetheless, I like this 1877 "Micro S" San Francisco Trade Dollar, though it's cleaned, VF and darkly toned. It's the only one I got! IMG_4500 (2).JPG IMG_4504 (3).JPG

    Hey Kanga, that's a "broken arrows", an unofficial variety I have been looking for. Note how part of the lowest arrow shaft is partly missing. Pretty cool coin to have for type!

    mintage about 700k, and most shipped to China, where most of them were melted.

    I almost forgot this beauty.
    About 10 years ago I decided to do a 1876 collection of holed 1876 Holed  trade dollar.jpg coins, no gold.
