It is kind of a strange listing... selling a GC for your own services on the bay, but I don't think it breaks any ebay policy.
It'll be interesting to see the opinions on this one. I tend to say 'no', as it really isn't selling any SGNA graded coins.
Even if he were selling SGNA coins, that is perfectly legal provided he does not mention SGNA , put a numeric grade in the title, and basically follow the rules.
This may be just a way to sell his services without selling his products on ebay. I'd be willing to bet his graded coins are numerically graded.
Is there supposed to be something wrong with selling numerically graded coins? There is the rule. There is nothing even implied about not selling a numeric graded coin. Their only ban is putting the number in the title. And the way around that is to picture the grade on the coin. That is also legal.
I am pretty sure you are correct. Either way, I am confident this listing does not break any ebay rules. But then again, I don't think a no-name holder will increase the value or sellability of any coin you may have.
Not that weird, this is at least the fourth grading service that I have seen sell certificates for future gradings. None of the other three are still in business either.
Maybe someone should buy this and get a coin slabbed by this fly by night company. You never know...slabbed coins by out-of-business graders may be a hot ticket twenty years down the road!
Yeah I hope for customers' sake he or she don't get many. What's with the blue flower on the slab? strange Oh that answers everything! From my quick perusal I believe this company is in cahoots with SGS. I checked out the sellers other items and they are mostly SGS graded coins. need I say more?
