Hi, I dont have a picture, but I recently aquired a lot of different coins from my late father. One that peaked my interest is a 2000 Library of congress Bimetallic $10 Gold/Platinum Coin. It is in a fancy case with a Certificate, I think it is a proof. Is this something that would be worthwhile to have graded? What is something like this worth? Thanks in advance.
Hello and Welcome to CT. Try the Fair Market Value guide at NumisMeida.com 2000 W Library of Congress Gold $10 PR Deep Cameo Pricing all depends on the condition of the coin, demand for that coin and what a buyer is ultimately willing to pay, but the above site is a decent guide to ball park price by. Assuming it's still in it's original packaging and a proof...it's probably in the PR69DCAM range. Based on HA prices, those have been selling for right around $900 lately.
Yeah, that's one pricey modern commem......I wouldn't send it in to be graded. I like OGP, but others may differ.
