With the heavy hits on the face and the eagle I'd say no better than 63. It's very close to being bad enough to call it damage.

As for the PL designation (no way it's DMPL) you have to test it yourself. Hold a business card or printed page up in front of the coin. If you can read the text in the reflection on the coin at 2inches away then it's PL. If not, it isn't.

That's a 63 in my opinion, the hits are too plentiful. It does look PL to me.

Probably 63 PL, but it's really tough to tell whether it would get the designation with that obverse photo. It's not a DMPL.

Just my opinion. They don't pay me to grade. :)

The dealer is kind of a crook to only pay scrap for a BU roll of 1904-0 Morgans.

    ms-63 PL

    And I have a 1903 DMPL ms-60
    1921 PL ms-62
    ANACS graded

so if i were to base it upon my experience with 1903 I would say its a PL IMO.

Uh, wow, I lucked out finding the dealer I did... he was much more thorough buying my family's coins.

I don't think my dealers would buy 1974 Ikes unless they are 1974-S or slabbed.

If you seen bu or silver by the pound deals on TV or in Coin World. you have about a 10- 50% chance of get silver from in the southeast/Huntsville AL 99% of unc or slider silver he send to Silvertown & Coast to Coast.

I know for sure 10 1904-O are on there way to Pcgs.and mine is one of them plus this

If I was a dealer, I can't buy with writing on a wrapper, gotta crack the roll see what's there.

Sorting stuff is pretty easy for a numismatist with experience, or a dealer.

Good stuff "just shines" to be picked.

You can pick a teens wheatie out of a bag, for example.

You have to crack the rolls you're buying to make sure they're silver.

This is Fishy to me !
