I wanted to see if anyone could tell me how much a 1996 $50 bill with a crease fold on the front of the bill only that is all solid blank but when crease is pushed togethere the printing matches perfectly. On the back you can see the crease but the print did not get messed up. Any ideas of what this bill would be worth? Or where I could find that information out? The bill has been circulated but is in pretty nice shape. Thank you!
It's called a "gutter fold" and if you google it you'll probably find more information about it. Any chance of a picture of it? We can tell you more with a picture.

As mentioned it is a gutter fold error. The note has some significant wear on it which is really never a good thing. You may get a small premium on it and it will always be worth $50. If the condition were better the value would be greater. You may want to list it on E-Bay and start at $80.00 but that might be pushing it a little. Never hurts to test the waters I suppose. Bummer! These scans didn't turn out very high resolution. The one has four vertical folds on the right, while the twenty has three diagonal folds (one running through Jackson's chest).
