Hi there. This coin just came to me as part of a small collection. It was in a 2x2 labeled “Spain Dinero” but it looks Ancient Greek to me. It is about the size of a US dime and is moderately thick. Any insight would be appreciated!

Definitely ancient Spain, c. 204-154 BC, but I don't think it's Ilerda- the inscription is wrong. (A number of cities issued coins with this same design, the only difference being the inscription under the horseman which gives the city name.) Unfortunately I'm not good at reading Iberian script- anyone else want to make a go at it?

    Thanks @Spaniard
What sort of value do these coins carry? They are obviously new to me.

The more detail the sudden increase in price....The op coin probably around 25/30 euros....I think mine was around 120....Huesca coins are one of the more common types....Yours is nice though especially the reverse.

If you have very low standards, you can find a Bolskan warrior for under $2 on eBay - although I am not sure it is worth that!
