Well this is my first slabbed Morgan.....I wanted just the right one for my type set. I also love that it has a little color.
    What do you think?

Okay I realize that the pictures are not that great (they are the sellers pictures) and
guessing the grade may be hard. I will post better pictures when I get the coin in hand.

Who is the TPG(Third Party Gradrading Co.) and are the scuff marks on the obverse on the coin or the slab. The reverse I'd go MS-63.

I'm gonna say a 64. SO many dealers and collectors under grade O mint Morgans because of weak strikes..

I may even say MS-64. I have a few MS63 from NGC that have more scratches that then that.

64 but I dont like the line scratches on the cheek or are those on the holder?

I would say a 64 if that scrape on the lower cheek is on the slab, if it's on the coin I would say 63. Nice coin.

Awesome morgan! I too especially like the toning along the rim of both obv and rev. At first I thought the light scratches running from 2 o'clock to 8 were on the NCG holder, but looking closely and they appear to be on the coins surface. MS63?

Oh wow, a 64. I know nothing about grading, so I was just guessing. Great score!

Aw shoot Shatzy, you gave it away too quick. I was gonna say '63. Those 'hairlines", scrapes on the chin influenced my decision.

Sorry.....I figured that the pictures are not the best, I will post better pictures when I get it in hand.

Yeah, the camera typically adds 10lbs to people...and imperfections to coins. I'm betting you won't even be able to see those chin scratches in hand.

Oh and Schatzy, what ever happened with your neighbors motherlode? Did she decide to sell or just hang onto them.

She sold tons of coins to the local dealers and I also had her send some of the coins to Heritage. I wish I could have afforded some of the coins but I think it is better this way since I didn't need up getting any coins from her.
