I'm surprised nobody had a thread on this yet. Next fall they will be offering S mint Morgan and Peace dollar proofs! As of right now no others. Another busy schedule. Wondering what mintages will be and how many will come out with white spots.
They should have just done the Peace. It'll be 100 year anniversary for the common 1922 which is popular. I'm sure they'll be pretty nice.
Our 4th kid is due in 2022 so I will be getting the proof sets and ASEs like I have for the others. I will probably pass on the Peace and the Morgan.
I had sort of hoped these would be a one-time 100th anniversary coins. I’m glad, though, they will have just one Morgan.
I did get the mint's catalog in the mail today but I didn't get anything in my email from them regarding the upcoming schedule.
If you are going to get the proof and silver proof Women's quarter sets, you can set up an enrollment for both. (I just did mine)
Being a baseball fan, I find the Negro League issues interesting. But you think they could come up with some more if they put their minds to it?
I'm confident I will be cutting WAY back in 2022. We sort of went crazy in 2021, especially with all the Morgan/Peace offerings where I unintentionally ordered multiples of because the order site was so JANKY. Rather than risk losing what was in my cart, I just left them. In good news however, all of the coins we received were stellar with none of the scratches or other marks so many received.
Since some of the 2021 Peace Dollars are designated as 'High Relief' by NGC, I'm wondering if any (or all) of the proof 2022s might qualify. This news hasn't seemed to have affected the going rate for resales of the 2021s yet, but it's still early for that I suppose.
Your guess is as good as mine. The only thing I can think of is that the 21s were such, but I dont see how that would be relevant now
I subscribe to one proof set, one silver proof set, one Innovations proof set and one Innovations reverse proof set and that is all. No reason to change in 2022.
