Good or Bad?

On saturday my gf came over and she wanted me to take her to the coin shop so she could buy coins for herself, not for me:crying:. I guess i got her hooked on coins. She got a walking liberty half, 10 wheaties, 3 steel pennies, and 1978 proof half.

My girlfriend is starting to get like that, she asks to see every coin i get. Her mother collects state quarters, so its also a good way to score points with mama

 

You're all sly dogs, and I don't blame you. If I could get away with her buying coins for me AND be happy about it - I'd say that's a keeper, too.

However, words of wisdom from diocletian, keep her away from everything else! You still need a sanctuary to go to occasionally.

 

Good or Bad? It all depends on what happened after the coin shop. Sounds like you have someone to share your hobby with at this time. Good for you. TC

Did the same with my wife. She really seemed to get into it for quite a few months and started sets of IHC and buffalo nickels. She even had our local dealer find her a nice 3-legged Buffalo. Then she lost interest. That's probably a good thing because now I have two more sets that are nearing completion and she paid for most of them!

 

hahaha lol, yea shes starting to get into coins but now she buys them for herself intead of me =( oh well lol
