hello...i am looking for more additional information about a 1914 5 dollar bill with a blue seal(uncirculated) great condition!! Also, I have a 1917 1 dollar bill with a red seal(uncirculated) if somebody could give me further detail on the rarity and price range of these bills it would be of great help.
Pictures would help determine a more accurate value. Without the district it will be impossible. Need the letters/numbers inside the black seal. Also need the series letter near the date. Serial number would also be helpful. Picture would be best but other would allow a range - all be it a wide one. If you can post pictures I would advise using Photobucket. It's free.

Without pictures this is like throwing darts at a wall and hoping to hit the target. Your best bet is to go on ebay and look for notes similar to yours and see the price they finish at. That is the best bet to understand actual value. Graded notes will get a little more as the owner paid to verify the condition. That add value to a potential buyer as they are more certain of what they will get. For the notes: $1 - $80 to $175 maybe as high as $400 if it looks like it just came from the printer with perfect corners, no folds, marks or holes. $5 - $60 to $175 maybe as high as $400 if it looks like it just came from the printer with perfect corners, no folds, marks or holes. It really doesn't take much to knock down the value and I would bet that you are in the $150 range unless they really are near perfect. These values are from the 08 Red book and are only rough estimates. Don not be surprised if you take them to a dealer and he offers you much less for them! Best bet if you want to sell them is ebay with great pictures of the Obverse and Reverse. If the pictures are so-so the price achieved will be too! The Mint sets are only worth a few dollars. Sorry!
